Dedicated to adults and children with Learning and Physical Disabilities and Special Educational Needs.
After watching a short film on the Internet about music events for people with Learning Difficulties, Barrie Wade and Paul Elvins set out to create a unique festival experience on the Isle of Wight. Dedicated to, and specifically for people with Learning Difficulties and the neurodiverse.
In 2018, One Life Festival was born. Gathering a huge amount of support from the local community along the way. The idea behind OLF was for the event to be a totally safe, supported festival, where people can enjoy the full festival experience, where people with disabilities are at the heart of the festival, and are encouraged to participate and celebrate.
Such was the success of OLF18, Barrie and Paul decided to open the festival up to a wider audience and create a second day specifically for families and younger children, so the family can enjoy a festival together in a safe and friendly environment.
One Life Festival 2019 now incorporates a wider audience and is reaching out to people across the UK that want to attend this amazing event, which truly does make all involved very humble to be a part of.
One Life Festival 2019 will be a totally safe, supported festival, where people can enjoy a full festival experience and are encouraged to participate and celebrate.
We are working closely with various Isle of Wight businesses, organisations and individuals to make the 2019 event bigger and better. What can you expect at One Life Festival 2019?
